ATLANTA, Ga. (June 20, 2018) – IMG College Licensing today announced it has reached a multiyear agreement with the University of Denver (DU) to manage its domestic trademark licensing program through June 2025.
Through the new partnership, DU will gain access to the leading brand protection, brand management, and brand marketing services and expertise provided by IMG College Licensing. The university’s partnership with IMG College Licensing will also allow its licensing program to implement brand strategies with best-in-class licensees, expand its presence with key retailers, leverage exclusive retail intelligence and data, and engage its consumers through a range of retail marketing programs.
“DU is a renowned academic institution with a long legacy of athletic success, including national championships in multiple sports,” said Brian White, VP, IMG College Licensing. “It is an honor for IMG College Licensing to be selected to help DU expand its brand reach and connect with its consumers.”
Having recently celebrated 150 years of its athletic program, the University of Denver brand has received significant national exposure through its on-field success. In the last 10 years alone, the University has earned multiple national championship titles, including skiing (2008, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2016, and 2018), men’s ice hockey (2016-17), and men’s lacrosse (2015).

IMG College Licensing currently represents the trademark licensing rights of nearly 200 colleges, universities, bowl games, athletic conferences, the NCAA, the College Football Playoff and other college sports properties.
