ATLANTA, Ga. (November 23, 2015) – The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), the licensing affiliate of IMG College, today announced an extension of its partnership with Fresno State to continue managing the University’s successful trademark licensing program through to 2025. Fresno State began partnering with CLC in 1983.

“Fresno State has taken a strategic approach to its licensing program by partnering with CLC to educate retailers and licensees about its fan base and distinct brand attributes,” said Brian White, Vice President, CLC. “As a result, the number of retail doors carrying school merchandise has grown from a handful in 2000 to hundreds today, throughout the state of California and nationally.”
The University’s licensing program has grown by more 250% in revenue in the past decade. During this period, with CLC’s assistance, retailers including Victoria's Secret, Costco, Sam's Club, and Dick's Sporting Goods began carrying Fresno State officially licensed merchandise.
Fresno State has also participated in CLC-exclusive retail programs including College Vault, College Colors Day and other national brand marketing platforms.
CLC, the leading collegiate licensing agency in the U.S., has signed or extended its licensing agreements with more than 50 partner institutions in 2015. CLC currently represents nearly 200 collegiate institutions, including 29 Bowl Games and the College Football Playoff.
